I, Alain, am from Montreal, Canada while my beautiful wife Yuliya was born and raised in Russia. Just a few years ago, we lived on different continents and were looking for our second halves unsuccessfully.

We tried to broaden our search to other parts of the world. By the will of destiny, we met on the Internet and started correspondence. We sent letters, exchanged photos and very soon our online relationship became very meaningful.

We could not wait to see each other in real life and in some months, I flew to Russia to meet Yuliya in her hometown Grodno, Belarus. Our feelings were mutual and despite being nervous before our first real meeting, we became quite comfortable with each other very quickly. By the end of the week, we knew we were in love!

Our love kept on growing, we wrote letters, talked on Skype and even were on vacations on a beach in Cuba together!

Next meeting Yuliya arrived in Canada to get acquainted with what we hoped would be her future home. She met my family and friends and explored the local schooling options for her little daughter.

Immigration process took six months and soon we were all living together as a new family!
